Overview: For this assignment, you will write a persuasive argument in which you will research a topic and take a stance about it. Keep in mind who you want your audience to be—who exactly needs to be persuaded?
Specifics:
Your paper should have a clear thesis statement in an introduction that quickly captures your readers’ interest. The body should be full of supportive reasons, details and examples. The conclusion should summarize your main points and remind the reader of your argument. You should also make use of ethos, pathos, and logos.
Your paper should be 5-8 pages double spaced in 12 point font. Final drafts must be sent electronically via email. It should be evident that you spent significant time with the internal revision process.
Attached to your paper, you must also attach a 1-2 page reflection that addresses your experience with writing this persuasive argument.
